Logging on Section 30 of CT

If you plan to ski the CT between Hazen's Notch and Jay Pass (Section 30) this winter, please be aware of logging activity along the northern two miles of trail. At least a portion of the logging road that the CT follows has been plowed and log trucks and skidders will be busy in the area. Remember that we are guests on this private property and do not interfere with the logging contractor's work. Use extreme caution and be prepared to stop, walk, and/or ski around the logging activity. 12/13/07
