Rando Race: MRG/Sugarbush

This Sunday Febraury 3d, Mad River Glen, Sugarbush, and Mountain Hardware will be hosting a USSMA randonnee race.

Last year's event was very well run and a lot of fun. There were over 70 entries. You can go agro in the race division, or take it easy and enjoy the comraderie of the recreation division, which has a slightly shorter course.
Participants can race with telemark or AT gear, or use splitboards or boards&snowshoes.
Equipment on the start line last year ranged from 75mm BC boots/3-pins/XCD skis all the way to 4-buckle AT boots/Freeride bindings/Phat skis. Everyone had fun either way.

The course ascends MRG, traverses the Long Trail, descends Sugarbush North, ascends through the Slidebrook Wilderness, and finally descends Sugarbush South.
