I know the trail is very well marked but I think there is a huge advantage to using GPS nonetheless if only to keep track of my groups pace. Are there GPS tracks for the Catamount sections available for download anywhere ? I'm starting to input into my PC topo map by eyeballing from trail book but that's pretty clumsy. Ideas ?

OK, with 51 "views" and 0 "replies" I'll make my own response ! We had a great 3 day trip, skied sections of 15, 16, 18, 19, & 20. Having a GPS was useful but not essential, We found the trail was reasonably well marked although ironically we had the most difficulty at xc centers. I only had trail access points "waypointed" in my GPS but this was quite useful on our first day when we needed to bail out at Cobb Brook (sec 20). So anyway, I've got some tracks that I'd be glad to share once I figure that part out - let me know.
