Default Sugarbush Inn Resort to Rt 17 Battlegrounds Condos

Sunday 3/23 four of us skied the section that was skipped by some of last year's WLT skiers due to heavy snow and fading daylight. Conditions were much faster this time. Plenty of base with a small amount of fluff on top, some of the trail had been tramped or snowshoed but not harmed. Some easy nice downhills through the maple grove, we resisted the temptation to ski off trail due to the sap tubing. Be careful to not blindly follow the tracks of others, there are other routes through these woods besides the CT. We saw the orange flagged cutoff for the bridge detour but it seemed too early, so we skied to the missing bridge then did an easy bushwhacked upstream to the usable bridge. Cover was thin right at German Flats road, but improved immediately after climbing the bank. Finally skied "Suzzie's Slog", my really, truly last unskied section of the entire CT. Thanks to Deb and Suzzie for logisitics help, and my family for joining me!
